Vice-Admiral Aleksandr Vasilevitch Kolchak, one-time Supreme Ruler of Russia, was taken from his cell to a place on the bank of the Angara River in Siberia, and there with Victor Pepelyaev, was shot by an execution squad and his body pushed through a hole in the ice.
