03 Nov 2006 A man who had been stalking US singer, actress Hilary Duff was arrested for threatening to kill her. According to legal papers, Maksim Miakovsky had gone to the U.S. "for the sole purpose of meeting and becoming romantically involved with Ms. Duff". He was later sentenced to 117 days in jail and five years probation after pleading no contest to the charges.
