Irish singer, songwriter and bassist Phil Lynott of Thin Lizzy died of heart failure and pneumonia after being in a coma for eight days following a drug overdose. It was later determined that the bus driver was speeding, for which the driver served three years in prison. The trial lasted from 16 July to 24 August 1990, when the suit was dismissed.
